CF Bakes – Terms & Conditions

1. About CF Bakes

CF Bakes is a homegrown bakery brand based in Chennai, offering freshly baked cakes, desserts, and customized celebration products. These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website, WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other ordering platform.

2. Order & Delivery Timings

  1. Same-day orders must be placed before the cut-off time communicated on the website or by our team.
  2. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be scheduled for the next available delivery slot.
  3. Our standard delivery window is between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
  4. Specific time requests can be mentioned while ordering. We will try our best to honor them, but exact timing cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, or operational constraints.
  5. In special circumstances such as heavy rain, strikes, road blocks, elections, or natural calamities, delivery delays may occur and cancellations will not be possible.

3. Prices & Discounts

  1. All prices are fixed and clearly mentioned at the time of order.
  2. Offers, discounts, or coupon codes (if any) cannot be combined unless specifically stated.

4. Address Changes

  1. Address changes are allowed only if informed at least 12 hours before delivery.
  2. Once the order is out for delivery, address changes will not be accepted.

5. Order Modifications & Cancellations

  1. Changes in flavor, design, size, or message are allowed only before preparation starts.
  2. Once baking or customization begins, no changes or cancellations will be accepted.
  3. Customized cakes are strictly non-cancellable.

6. Product Appearance

  1. Cakes and desserts are handmade products.
  2. Final appearance, color shades, and decorations may slightly vary from reference images due to availability of ingredients, seasonal elements, or artistic interpretation.
  3. Such variations shall not be treated as defects.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

  1. Any complaint regarding damaged products or wrong items must be reported within 2 hours of delivery along with clear photos.
  2. After verification, CF Bakes may offer a replacement or refund as per our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. Delivery Attempts

Delivery will be considered successful in the following situations:

  1. Recipient not available at the address
  2. Incorrect address or contact details
  3. Phone not reachable
  4. Recipient refuses to accept
  5. Product handed over to security, reception, or neighbor as per delivery norms

In such cases, no re-delivery or refund will be provided.

9. Substitution Policy

If any ingredient, decoration, or packaging item is unavailable, CF Bakes reserves the right to substitute with an item of equal or higher quality without prior notice, while maintaining the overall look and value.

10. Duplicate Orders

If the same order is placed multiple times, CF Bakes will attempt to contact the customer. If unreachable, the company’s decision will be final.

11. Fraud & Misuse

CF Bakes reserves the right to cancel orders, refuse service, or block customers found involved in fraudulent activity, false information, abusive behavior, or misuse of services.

12. Non-Availability of Recipient

If the recipient is unavailable and the product cannot be handed over, the order will be treated as completed and no refund shall be issued.

13. Legal Compliance

CF Bakes may share customer information with law enforcement or government authorities if required by law.

14. Right to Refuse Service

CF Bakes reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or organization at its sole discretion without providing a reason.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

16. Updates to Terms

CF Bakes may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be published on the website and will be effective immediately.

17. Communication Consent

By placing an order, you agree to receive transactional and promotional messages via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone call from CF Bakes.
